Casas Na Areia
These Portuguese cottages first drew my attention on the cover of Elle Decor, (Jan/Feb 2012). Located in the Alentejo region, the houses are part of a protected area of the coast; no new building is permitted. These remodeled fisherman’s cottages have been transformed into a tranquil beach getaway by the owners, who rent the property through WelcomeBeyond.
